2024 has been our biggest year of play since we started running our service five years ago. Thanks to you, we've run over 310 sessions, facilitating nearly 800 hours of play for children on the move.
Children's rights matter. Every child should have access to their fundamental rights - to shelter, food, health, education and play. For children living on the UK-France border, this is not a reality.
Our service helps create access to the right to play for children on this border. As long as we are needed, we want to continue providing this service, and continue advocating for change.
To do this, we need your help.

Sponsor a Session
Our sessions are the heart of Project Play - we facilitate both free and structured play activities that target developmental outcomes and provide children with safe spaces to play, grow and be themselves.
Many of the children we work with have not had access to safe spaces to play or learn for many years - something most of us took for granted in our childhoods. Play is absolutely fundamental for healthy development - being denied access to play is harmful for children both now and in the future. No child should be denied their right to play.
This winter, as many of us look to gift-buying, can you share the power of play?
By sponsoring a session, you'll do exactly this. The perfect present for a loved one, you'll receive a sponsor gift pack with stickers, postcards and an optional craft kit (suitable for both kids and adults!). Meanwhile, the money you spend will go directly to the running of our service - ensuring that the children we work with can access play too!

For £10 or £20, you'll have the option to receive a thank you note from a member of our team, and a pack of bespoke Project Play stickers, hand-designed by our volunteers. These are perfect for notebooks, laptops or just being creative!
★ Superstar & Legend Sponsorships ★
For £25 or more, you'll have the option to receive a thank you note and stickers, as well as a decorative postcard to put on display and a do-it-yourself craft pack (with options for adults and kids*). These are beginner friendly, and have everything you need to enjoy a personal Project Play activity session.

*Adult crafts will be crochet or cross-stitch kits. Kids crafts will include a set of rainbow scratch sheets, and either a wooden threading kit (paint free) or make your own suncatcher kit (includes paint). You can choose paint or no paint using the drop-down options at purchase.

*These delivery dates are based on UK Royal Mail Christmas posting information. We can't guarantee parcels will reach you before the 25th, but the sooner you order the better!
