ADVOCACY & RESEARCH

As the only independent organisation working with children aged 0-18 on the UK-France border, we are uniquely placed to observe, document and act on the childrens rights violations we witness.

“Yoadan (aged six) showed me with her hands how the gas went into her mouth, throat, chest and lungs. She said it was “spicy”, and thought she was going to be sick. She also said it was “spicy” in her eyes, which I could see were still bloodshot”

Stop Border Violence - Public Inquiry Now.

In 2024 and 2025, at least 22 children were killed on the UK-France border. Thousands more endured repeated experiences of violence.

This includes being tear gassed by police, evicted from living sites and systematically denied essential services - and is the direct consequence of policy and funding decisions made by the UK and French governments.

2026 is a crucial moment for change, with funding renegotiated and a French parliamentary inquiry underway. We need action from the UK government.

Alongside our new report, we are launching a campaign calling for a full public inquiry into UK spending at the border.
