TEACHER PARTNERSHIPS

We're looking for primary school teachers who want to learn more about life for children at the border, use their skills to help us improve our provision and support us to continue our work. If this sounds like you or someone you know, read on!

Project Play works with displaced children and families at the UK–France border, creating spaces for play, creativity and solidarity.  As the only independent organisation working with children aged 0-18 on the UK-France border, we are uniquely placed to observe, document and act on the children's rights violations we witness; these are outlined in our recent reports, We Want To Be Safe and 'Nowhere Safe'.

In 2026, we are launching a teacher partnership scheme where we invite teachers to Calais, to learn about the experience of children on the border and to help us raise awareness and funds. To support this, we are developing a set of unique, classroom-ready education packs exploring the right to play.

By visiting, you will gain a first hand understanding of what children experience and be better positioned to help advocate with and support children who have experienced displacement. This will mean you can best facilitate our packs and help speak out about the realities of the border to your communities.

GET INVOLVED!
